Atari Loses Publishing Rights To Dragon Ball Z

Dragon Ball Z

Atari has apparently lost the publishing rights to the Dragon Ball Z franchise, the rights automatically go back to Namco Bandai.

Namco Bandai recently released a press statement which stated that the company has the right to publish the series starting in 2010 til 2015 in which the agreement trumps any previous existing publishing rights.

Namco is the publisher for all of the following; Dragon Ball: Raging Blast for the PS3 and 360, Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo for the Wii, and Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Saiyans for the DS.

All expected to hit later this year.
