New Resident Evil Film Coming In 2010?

Ok, while the games are fun as hell and wildly successful…the movies have been somewhat less than desirable. I’m talking about the Resident Evil franchise. Sometimes we have to know when, to say when. It appears that W.S. Anderson, the writer for the past Resident Evil movies, is penning another script for a new movie to take place in Alaska and Tokyo.
Shocktilyoudrop, a film website, is reporting that the new RE film will be titled, Resident Evil: Afterlife. The webiste even states that they have a source close to the movie that pegs it for a September 2010 release. Oh if only it were that simple.
