Uncharted 2 Has Over 90 Minutes Of Cut Scenes

Uncharted 2

It appears to be the newest craze, movies in games, or playable movies as I like to call them.  Metal Gear Solid 4 was the first “movie in game” that I played where I said to myself, damn, I don’t think I’ve played 30 minutes of actual game.  I had been sitting in front of the tv for 2 hours.

Uncharted 2 appears to be taking the same route.  Developing boss, Evan Wells stated in a PS Blog Uncharted 2 Live Chat, that the game would have over 90 minutes of cinematics.

“The single player campaign is definitely going to be longer than Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune,” said the developer.

“We have over 90 minutes of cinematics alone! And of course we have the competitive and co-op multiplayer modes too!”

Don’t get me wrong, I loved Metal Gear, but please…oh please, don’t make this a movie in game.
