160gb Uncharted PS3 Bundle $399

It’s price-cut rumor time, everybody! According to an internet-distributed picture purported to be taken from Texas-based retailer Hastings’ catalog, the 160 GB Playstation 3 will soon cost $400, a $100 saving over the current price. The ad says this is a "price cut" not a "sale." The new price supposedly takes effect on September 8th, weeks after Sony’s press conference at Gamescom, where the company is expected to announce the new, low price.
As for how likely is this rumor to be true, I’m not sure, but the photo looks pretty legit… so let’s just say, personally, I wouldn’t buy a PlayStation 3 before September 8th.
