Miyamoto Says Next Zelda Title Will Have WiiMotion Plus

November 3, 2009 by ghost writer

In a recent interview, Nintendo head-honcho, Shigeru Miyamoto said that the next Zelda title will use WiiMotion Plus technology to provide a more accurate and realistic sword combat and targeting.

“In this (installment of the series), we’re using MotionPlus to make you feel much more like you’re actually fighting while holding a sword in your hand…In the previous game, you aimed at things by pointing at the screen, but this time we’ll use MotionPlus to create a much more convenient targeting system and a more pleasurable playing experience."

No word on when to expect this revolutionary new Zelda title, but rest assured…we’ll probably be waiting a while.
