Reggie Puts The Kaibash On Wii HD

Nintendo just ruined your fun…again. Well, specifically, Reggie Fils-Aime of Nintendo of America ruined your fun. It’s all the same though.

In a recent spot on GTTV, Reggie effectively ended speculation of a Wii HD console releasing at some point next year. He simply said, "nope."

“Michael [Pachter] continues to be the only one that believes this is going to happen,” the NoA president told presenter Geoff Keighley.

“I don’t know how forcefully we can say that there is no Wii HD.”

Nintendo does often fabricate the truth though…so keep your ears peeled.

malform Senior Member	Who knows what to believe... Wasnt all that long ago that nintendo was adamantly denying the price drop. They were even denying it after sales adds were published with the new lower price listed.... :\|

Mr.Skull Junior Member	True (malform) indeed...all I know that the next Nintendo console will be much more graphically capable than the wii...Nintendo ALWAYS has something up it's sleeve.

Eanxsh There's a guy above you!	Its going to happen I dnt believe (or care) anything reggie says I lost respect for him years ago.So its still a rumor IMO. He also said no price drp would happen lol.

Lol, yeah nintendo has been known to flat out lie (hell even Reggie will sometimes lie). Just like people pointed out, nintendo had denied the rumors of the price drop not to long ago and then BOOM, price drop.

At the same time, if we did not get a wii hd next year it would not shock me. The wii's life span is not dead just yet. There are still a lot of big games on the way for the wii (hurry up Monster Hunter Tri and Metroid Other M
