Game Informer Slams Aliens Vs. Predator In Review

What’s the worst thing that could happen if you’re a developer and you’re trying to get good publicity out for your new video game? Having the biggest gaming magazine in the world give your game a 5.75/10 rating in their review. That’s exactly what Game Informer gave Rebellion’s Aliens Vs. Predator, saying “We have a title trying to live off the fumes of two dormant franchises.” Go ahead a view a scan of the review here. AvP has been in development for a while, so it’s not surprising to see the game seemingly fall on its face. I’m sure SEGA’s not crying over spilled milk either.
