Many More MotionPlus Games Being Developed, Zelda One of Them
July 27, 2009 by Quinten Vaughan · Leave a Comment

Nintendo of America’s sneaky… They do confirm that Zelda Wii will use Wii MotionPlus, however, they also dodge questions about Earthbound. They also mention another game of theirs that uses the MotionPlus, titled ‘Span Smashers’, but no plans are made to bring it to North America, sadly. Here’s a snippet from the interview:
NWR: Any word on anything for Mother 3 or Another Code coming to America?
BT: You know, when you hear about them, you’ll hear about them. (laughs) Until then, there is nothing on those at this point and time.
Sorry Earthbound fans, you’ll have to wait some more. Nintendo of America hates you, I guess.

Nintendo Thinks Fitness Games Are The Greatest Thing Since Sliced Bread
July 22, 2009 by Mark Barley Editor in Chief · 3 Comments

So, apparently Nintendo thinks that all of their fitness games are now the norm and no longer scoffed at.
“When we first announced the Wii Balance Board, people were skeptical,” said Nintendo’s Denise Kaigler. “But consumers responded quickly and told their friends about it. Now when a new fitness game like Wii Fit Plus is announced, no one bats an eye.
“Fitness games are now an accepted part of the video game landscape.”
If only Nintendo knew what the consumer actually thought.

Club Nintendo Prizes Finally Revealed!
July 14, 2009 by Quinten Vaughan · 1 Comment

The Club Nintendo bonuses have been revealed! You can choose one of three prizes, depending on what status you got last Club Nintendo year. If you got Gold status, then guess what? You get a calendar! If you got Platinum status, then you have the choice of either a plush Mario hat, which you can actually wear, or a code to redeem an interesting WiiWare-type game, featuring a new Punch-Out!! character. Well, new tofight; Doc Louis. Yeah. You actually fight Doc Louis. Check out these pictures!

I myself will be going with the Mario hat, but the Punch-Out!! game is tempting. You do not need the original Punch-Out!! game to play against your trainer, but enough space (Still unknown.) on your Wii to play it. You’ll have to claim which prize you desire from the site by August 11th, and they will ship by November 1st.
