Guitar Hero 5 Guitar Revealed

It has been revealed that Guitar Hero 5’s version of the Guitar peripheral has some major changes, mostly dealing with the slider.  Unlike it’s over-touchy, analog one from it’s predesessor, it’s now digital, allowing for way less more accidents.  The slider also adds small reliefs, to feel where on the slider you are, if you even choose to use it.  They added small, colored dots to the slider as well, if the reliefs are too hard to memorize (They shouldn’t be too hard to memorize.), so you can take a quick look down, and make sure your fingers are where they should be.

Not related to the slider, though, include the usual, expected updates, like a more durable and responsive whammy bar.  One that wasn’t expected, but is a very nice touch is that they made the guitar itself more textured, so you wouldn’t get sweaty, and mess up as easily.  Why is this a big deal?  Well, if you’re going to have a 13 minute song, then odds are, you will get sweaty!
