Bioware Working On Secret Tech Add On For ME2?

Twitter holds all the secrets, just remember that. In a strange tweet earlier today, Bioware developer Christina Norman announced that they are working on a big tech feature for the upcoming Mass Effect sequel.
“Working on the new “technology” feature for #masseffect2. It’s secret, and awesome! Don’t tell anyone.”
Knowing Bioware, we won’t know what this tech add on is until the game is released, they are that good…or bad, at keeping secrets.
The game is out in 2010 for the 360 and PC.

The game will feature a “fully/client server” connection, with “many more modes and more people allowed to play.”
The first game had three multiplayer modes and only four players allowed.
The game is due out later this year for the 360 and PS3.
Halo Waypoint Gets A Bit More Detailed

Frank O’Connor, of 343 Industries, was on hand this past weekend at Comic-Con and spoke about the Xbox 360’s latest Halo venture, Halo Waypoint.
Halo Waypoint will be an accessible Xbox 360 Dashboard channel featuring news, videos, screens, wallpapers, etc. available for download. All about the Halo universe.
“There’s a lot more to Waypoint than just watching movies and listening to podcasts,” he said. “Maybe you just want to see a really old Halo trailer from E3. We’re going to aggregate everything that you would want to watch from the Halo universe on that site. But it’s a lot more ambitious than that. It’s going to evolve in features and functionality to make it the prime destination for the Halo fan.
“You’ll be able to see [Legends] episodes in their entirety via Waypoint in a staggered schedule. Those events will be global—it will be in every Xbox territory—and we’ll make those things sort of ‘come participate’ events.”
When asked about a release date, O’Connor reiterated that it is scheduled for a fall release. He was also asked about pricing for this new channel and whether or not Silver XBL member’s would be able to access the channel.
“Certainly, if you’re a Gold member you’re going to get access to all of that experience,” he said. “We want everyone to have this same experience, but the question is, if there’s multiplayer features that are technically connected to Gold, it’s easier to deal with. There’s a lot of reasons that [tying it to] Gold makes sense.”
Microsoft sure does love their Halo!
