I don't see why a lot of people hated WW :P. And you sold TP because of the constant references to "the gods"?? -.-

I find it refreshing to see someone who is willing to put their faith above their hobbies. I draw the line where stories refer to multiple deities and various demigods on earth. As long as the story makes a clear separation of reality and fantasy I don't have a problem. As such I have been a diehard LoZ fan since the first shiny gold cartridge on the nes. Shoot I play Diablo and read the books. If you are a fan of LoZ you should play WW, as it has some very impressive visuals and (I won't give it away) a rather shocking finale. But follow your feelings, if something offends you or feels wrong don't do it. If you're looking for a good GC game try Skies of Arcadia Legends, Beyond Good and Evil, or Second Sight instead.

One of my favorite aspect of this game was that when u hit sum1 with a combo the music was like: dundun, dunduuun, dundin! The overall gameplay makes it close to beating oot, but just close! Plus the music is awesome too. I simply love this game and you need to get it!

If your parents won't allow it, then don't get it. It's one of the ten commandments: Obey your parents. They have a reason for possibly not wanting you to have this game. Talk to them and find out what they have to say about it.

Not to sound like a fanboy but if it has the title Legend of Zelda, then you owe it to yourself at the very least to play it.

It's a great game. There are barely any references to the gods. Have your parents watch you play it for like 20 minutes. I'm sure they will be fine with the cel shaded cuteness that is the Wind Waker.
