Is it still a good time to buy the 360? I've been wanting one forever, just wondering when it would be a bad time to buy it.

I don't know I haven't really been paying attention but to my knowledge there hasn't been a price drop yet and Gears of War 2 is right around the corner. So If it were me I'd wait a bit.

To be honest I don't think u should get 1 at all. They are constanly breaking and you can only play them for a few hours at a time or it will break :/. I havn't been paying attention to prices but whatever u wanna do!

Actually, the trick to NOT getting the RRoD is to keep your 360 in a WELL ventilated area, preferably near a fan, but DO NOT put the fan facing it up close in the back (I like to keep my fan facing the disk drive ).

Also, I have a black 360 up for sale that has a blue faceplate, and comes with the hard drive and 3 games. It still works perfect, I just want a white one Goes good with my Wii and PSP But it's like $450.... but I can take off the games to lower the price. Just check out my thread in Buy, Sell or Trade.

But it is worth getting... the 360 is fun, especially trying to get all the achivements for your games. The online is better than the Wii, even though you have to pay for it, it's still worth it. The games are better (graphic-wise and in fun value)... it's mostly just your taste in game consoles.

360 is the only console to have cause it has the greatest game ever Bioshock! 360 isn't failing at that high of a rate anymore either. I have mine on for hours and my brother keeps his 360 on all the time too. We never have a problem.

Im always thinking of getting a 360 i just never have the money, and for a quote from 5 friends 'sell your wii', further quote from me '*slap*'

Yeah, but they do break down alot. my friend's first one played a few games in german and you couldn't change it.

Supposedly in August the newest version of the 360 comes out that has the 65nm GPU instead of the 90nm. It's supposed to run cooler and be more reliable, but who's not skeptical?

I'm probably getting a 360 mid-june (fathers day) just because I can't wait any longer. I was hoping for a price drop, but I guarantee that will happen a week after I buy it...

I don't own one but I need liek 100$ but by the time I get that much maybe it will be lower price.

I play on my friends 360 alot and it's awesome.

I suggest getting a 'pro' 360 unless you are gonna buy like 1,000 games. then you get a 'elite' 360.

If you get one don't buy a used one. They usually are first or second runs of the system and aren't reliable. Make sure it was a system made 07 or later.

What!? Put a fan infront of it? Shouldn't it come with a fan that blows out the hot air? My PS3 comes with a fan.
