Have you tried cleaning your cartridges or system? If your not very confident in your manual skills I wouldent recomend tearing down your console but the easiest thing you can do is get some q tips and alchol and swab the connectors on your games. Personally, I tear my games completly apart, then take a dab of ceramic stovetop cleaner and wipe down the connectors. You can literally see your reflection when your done. I then proceed to clean the casing and polish the label. Call me obsessed but I just like to know that my games are in top shape

I am always do the same but if you get a va***e cleaner that will get rid of the dust.

I thought a lot of that issue had to do with the connector in the system wearing out? Reason for the gold 72 pin ones on ebay?
