I downloaded Super Mario Bros 3 on my Wii, when I got to the doom ship in world 5, I died the first time, the ship then moved to the first map in world 5, when I went to the first map, the ship is not there, but when I go back to the 2nd map, it shows the ship being in map 1, I've gone back and forth many times and have tried everything I can think of to get to the ship. Is there something I am supposed to be doing that I'm not? or is this some kind of glitch in the game?

It sounds like some kind of glitch, unless the ship moves as you navigate through the maps...but I don't remember that happening as you describe the last time I played SMB 3 (not on the wii).
