The one I got from Wii Play doesn't work either! The cursor is all jumpy and disappears. I called customer support this morning and did everything they said, and nothing worked. They told me I should send it in for repair or return it to the store.

Anyone know how to fix it before I send it in?

Hey, I'm new to the forums, but I joined for the single purpose of getting help.

I've had my Wii since it the day it came out. And I haven't had a problem until now.

My syncing system is acting up. I needed to resync both of my Wiimotes. And I'll do exactly what the instruction manual says. The lights will blink, then they'll change the pattern in which they blink. I can't really describe it. But they won't stop blinking, like the manual say they will. And yes, the batteries I'm using are brand new.

Help is greatly appreciated.

I'm gonna try and unplug everything.

If that doesn't work, I"m out of ideas.

Here's what you should do.
  1. Remove the battery from the motes
  2. Put them back in.
  3. Hold down the red button (sync button) on the Wii for 15 secs to unsync everything.
  4. Hold down the red button (sync button) on the Wii mote and Wii for 5 secs (NO LONGER, else it will reset!)
  5. Do it with your other mote.
  6. Tadaa!!

Tell me if I helped

Greets,

~Zack
