SLASH to appear as a character in GUITAR HERO 3 video game at Metal Injection :: BLOG Injection

Rock Band may be getting all this press for its unique gamplay, but GUITAR HERO III is not just going to bend over and give up its reigns as the most metal video game out there.

METAL Injection can exclusively report that Guitar Hero III will feature rock icon SLASH of Velvet Revolver and Guns ‘N’ Roses fame as a playable character in the game. Slash went down to the Guitar Hero studios and was placed in a motion capture suit to record his shredding. To unlock the Slash character, you will have to face him in a 1-on-1 duel after completing all the songs in the game.

As we’ve previously reported, here are the confirmed tracks for the third version of the Guitar Hero series:

That would be cool I guess, woulent make the game any better.
