By: ghost writer
July 15th, 2010
3:59 pm

"It will be a side adventure. We want to be very clear that the story has a beginning, middle and end, so you don't need to get the DLC to fill in the gaps," said Antoniades.
"It's a totally separate side story, and totally separate from the main production of the game."
Enslaved releases in the US on October 5 and in the UK on October 8 for the PS3, 360, and PC.
Peter Molyneux Says Fable II Was Rushed
By: ghost writer
July 15th, 2010
3:56 pm

"Fable II, let's be honest about it, it has some terribly messy things about it," said Molyneux.
"Half of that, again being honest, was because we rushed at the end and we had this terrible phase where, the world looks this beautiful with this many game features, and then slowly transitioned into being less beautiful."
Fable II was originally code-black listed meaning that it had so many bugs at release that it was Microsoft's top priority to fix, it was also the first game to make it the all "code-black" level.
"On Fable II we had, at one point, 67,000 bugs. The Microsoft Test team rated us super black. No-one had been black before. They'd been red and orange and green. But we were super black. They said it's utterly impossible for anybody to come out as super black.
"That's why we had to reduce down what we had. But, to be honest with you, there were also huge design flaws in Fable II."
Fable III is out on October 26 for the Xbox 360 and PC.

Brutal Legend 2 isn't happening
By: Da Ill One
July 15th, 2010
3:41 pm

During his recent Develop panel, Tim Schafer -- creator of Brütal Legend and head of Double Fine Productions -- revealed that the potential for a sequel to Jack Black's journey through a fantastical world of rockitude is nonexistent. "Apparently when they said it was a done deal, they meant there was no deal, and we're done," he told attendees.
Double Fine fans shouldn't mourn the game's loss, however; the studio is currently at work on four new titles, so it's not like Schafer is riding off into the sunset -- unless that's part of one of the four games Double Fine is working on, in which case you heard it here first.

Dragon Age II was confirmed earlier in the week with a March 2011 release date on the PS3, 360, and PC.
