Rock Band Wii ‘Special Edition’ in Stores Today!

box

Wii owners have been waiting for this one for ages. The full package will be selling at a retail price of $169.99 including a microphone, drum set, and wireless guitar. Don’t expect this version to have everything its current generation counterparts have (you can forget downloadable content), but expect more of an upgraded PS2 version. While it may be more related to the PS2 version, it’s still the amazing Rock Band that’s been constantly praised by gamers and critics alike. That should be enough reason to run out there and buy it, especially if the only current generation system you own is the Wii (or you want a Wii party game not involving our beloved plumber).

I’m trying to figure out who the hell in their right mind would spend $170 on a single video game.

It’s more than just a game disc, you are buying the hardware (instruments)

That’s fine, but my question stands: Who the hell in their right mind would pay $170 for a single game?

haha, idk, but millions of people have bought this game. Although I could never bring myself to buy it for that much.

It’s a big fad in the dorms and at least 5 rooms own it in my building

I actually convinced my roommate to buy this for his 360……boy did I get a good deal >_>

whatever happened to “poor college student”…idk
