Ranking System

I am curious to know what people think of having a system to rank our victories and losses in regular matches or tournaments, as brawl does not have that, yet I believe it will only make things more competitive and interesting and exciting.

Please let me know your thoughts on whether to incorporate a ranking system for one of the greatest games every created known as Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

A ranking system would be great, but lets face it. Since when does Nintendo care what the fans think?

I love talking with increased size because it helps me get my point across to those who read it. I think ranking systems would be pointless.

I think its a pretty important topic because all the big games have ranking systems. The reason why I think that there is a point to it is because in general most people want to try to be as good as they can at a certain game and want to show how good they are. Of course people sometimes do not like it because they feel bad if they are not winning alot. However, having a ranking system lets you see where you are, and allows you to find out if your improving, and if need be, only people who want to be there can be there.. but once again its just my opinion, and I want to know what others think about this.

Also Reeg I put it at big font cause I do think this is a big part of what nintendo did wrong on the online part of smash. Games like warcraft 3, Halo, and all those games all have a ranking system, and who doesn't want to try and improve?

Ranks would be great, but I really don't see it happening anytime soon.

rankings would be awesome. they have it on strikers...why not brawl?

It really wouldn't be that difficult of a thing to accomplish, but first I think we need to have a certain amount of people who approve it. And then let it will take its course. after approval it shouldn't be a very difficult thing to do. The question is what to do with the rankings. Like how will they be established (wins from tournaments) regular matches or that sort of thing. Well I'll discuss it with the other mods as well as wiispace if the majority of people here like the idea.
