I pretty much beat the game. Except I haven't discovered the Purple Comet yet. I already got the Red Mushroom the makes you fly. Is there anything else I need to do to unlock the Purple Comet?

as far as I know you have to beat the game once to be able to get purple comets. So go for bowser and start game after
