Nintendo E3 Predictions - Day Four

This is day four of the predictions! Each game will be given a percentage based off of much information so an educated prediction can be made (Although nothing is ever fully predictable with Nintendo). For any of the more probable predictions, keep in mind that if they are not announced at E3, they will most likely be announced at another gaming conference soon after. We’ll make sure to cover the chances of all the major franchises like Mario, Zelda, Pikmin, Animal Crossing and so on…..and maybe even certain games like Kid Icarus will be covered. Feel free to leave comments stating your own predictions as well!

The Pikmin Series: Wii- 5% DS- 1%
A third Pikmin installment will most likely be developed in the future, but this year is an unlikely year. Shigeru Miyamoto has stated in many interviews that he would love to make a new Pikmin game for the Wii, but one of the interviews was so recent (April 2008 Gamespot Interview) that it wouldn’t seem like Nintendo has started developing anything yet. The recent appearance of Olimar in Super Smash Brothers Brawl definitely helps make the series more concrete and notable and helps pave the way for more Pikmin to come. On the other hand, Pikmin fans just need to remember that Olimar appearing in Brawl doesn’t mean “instant Pikmin”. Pikmin fans will just have to be very patient but their time will come!
