New Super Mario Brothers is exactly what the title implies, a fresh new version of old school Mario. This 3D side-scroller is very addicting redefining what a platforming game should be.
: Same as it always is, Peach gets kidnapped and you save her. Is it ever different? Nope, because that’s the way the fans love it.
Graphics: The 3D style mixed with the 2D platforming made for interesting combination. Pretty well done overall.
Presentation: Stepping into Mario’s shoes is no problem, seeing how he has just about all the skills he’s acquired throughout his library of games compiled into this game.
Sound: Revamping old Mario music into great music that just never gets tiring to listen to was an excellent addition to the game.
Replay-ability: If you’re good you could jump right through this game in a few mere hours. But with the massive amount of levels you can count on many more hours of fun.
Multiplayer: Very fun in this game whether you want to do 1v1 Mario vs. Luigi or a 4 player mini game marathon, this game provides excellent multiplayer support. Although many games were copied from Super Mario DS, it still provides great fun.
