Where did you see that it would be less? It doesn't say that in the link you provided. And the reason I prefer it on the 360 is the because Xbox live provides an easy interface for downloadable content, as well as the graphics. I have had a blast playing it with all my friends on Live.
Aren't you the guy who tried saying you got a downloadable demo for Smash Bros a few months ago? You're not a very trustworthy source of info (although I did also read about the EA CEO saying Rock Band was coming for the Wii, so I do believe that). But nowhere did he mention anything about price. Stop trying to get your rep raised.
