Justin, herein lies some problems with that. When I posted to Wiioff I was in game, which is all I usually will be in while on Wii, so there is no way I would receive any messages in a timely manner. I keep my laptop near me so I can communicate with the people I am in game with via mii******* or messenger. So if Wiioff had replied I would have gotten an email notification right away. I understand that not everyone has a laptop and their Wii/TV is probably not near their desktop PC. However, it is much more efficient for me to type on a keyboard than to point and click each letter with the wiimote. That is just me. I realize what you are trying to convey but it just isn't practical for me.
BTW, there is no need for everyone to quote someone's post in a forum unless you want to reference a specific point. In that case just condense it down to just that one or two lines. All I ever do is just click on "post new reply." Just an FYI.
