Actually, the trick to NOT getting the RRoD is to keep your 360 in a WELL ventilated area, preferably near a fan, but DO NOT put the fan facing it up close in the back (I like to keep my fan facing the disk drive ).

Also, I have a black 360 up for sale that has a blue faceplate, and comes with the hard drive and 3 games. It still works perfect, I just want a white one Goes good with my Wii and PSP But it's like $450.... but I can take off the games to lower the price. Just check out my thread in Buy, Sell or Trade.

But it is worth getting... the 360 is fun, especially trying to get all the achivements for your games. The online is better than the Wii, even though you have to pay for it, it's still worth it. The games are better (graphic-wise and in fun value)... it's mostly just your taste in game consoles.
