If you think about it that way then nothing can kill, because even if you shoot someone, the gun or bullet won't be what kills the person, the loss of blood or oxygen to the brain is what'll kill. Which is why I assumed that as long as it's what caused the death, and by that I mean it was involved, it would be what killed the person. Thevinh would easily agree to that, because it's true. An atom splitting would be what started the chain reaction, so it would be the thing that killed, without it the chain reaction wouldn't have started.
