Unfortunately, as all games do, MX will end up on the back burner to newer games, just as SSB (saw my nephews play it and glad I didn't waste my money on it) will fall to Mario Kart, etc. I am just appalled that more people never got into MX as they should have. Me personally, I will always play it when I have time.
Part of the reason being (from what I understand because I have not gotten it yet) is MK has a much better online setup and you can race anyone, anywhere in the world. It is just too bad that they can't "patch" or give us DLC for games we already own to make them do what the new games do for online play. Oh well, maybe they will learn in time what is best for the customer.
