Well luckily for that broken bridge, you don't need to cross it until you beat the mini boss. Go to the other bridge on the other side instead and on the same platform, on the left where the plants are you'll see a spinner thing to activate the bridge. Thanks for the answer! But there's something I don't quite get (probably my fault). The bridge that I was talking about was the one with the plants all over the top where it showed some dragon thing crashing the bridge.(sry bout forgetting about that detail) I hope that we are talking about the same bridge, I will go and try out your theory. =)
