I consider the purchase of my Wii to be a bad decision. If they want me as a customer, they better figure out that I want THE BEST. I don't want their crappy casual games, I don't want crappy online, and I don't want crappy last-generation graphics and processing. Turn that around, show me you have a good chance of being best in the market, and I'll consider.
I refuse to let nostalgia of the franchises influence my future purchases.
