Anascape didn't wait untill the Wii was huge to sue, it just the case took it's time to go through the courts, as anyone who has been in a court case knows they can take a long time (ask R. Kelly about his 6 year court case)...
although I hate when companies file a patent and copyright and then don't do anything with it...I think that's bad business but in this case...Nintendo was definately in the wrong...

Still though if I recall the Gamecube was launched in 2001 alongside the GC controller so are you telling me that Anascape decided just to wait to file a lawsuit and sue Nintendo for 4 years? I'm not saying Nintendo is right or anything but I think there is more to the case on Anascape's side. I mean if Anascape made a huge deal about sueing these companies because of copyright infringement why did they wait for a whole 4 years to decide to sue? The same goes for all the other companies too while they might of infringed upon Anascape why is it that they wait a few years to even begin to file a lawsuit after the console launchs which come with the infringed or stolen controllers?
