Final Fantasy Tactics A2
Final Fantasy Tactics A2 is the sequel to Final Fantasy Tactics for gba. The game takes you into Ivalice which a lot of Final Fantasy games take place in. Well the game starts off your getting ready to go on summer vacation ever kids favorite time of year.
The main character of the story is Luso. He isn't a bad kid, he just gets himself in trouble for pranks. Well the teacher decides to teach Luso a lesson so he sends him off to clean the library before he can go on summer vacation. While cleaning up the library he finds and empty book with a spot that says sign here, and of course he's a kid so he does and this is where the game takes off.
Luso lands in Ivalice right in front of a giant Klesta. Cid and his buddies pop up and tell you about where you are and how they are in a clan and it protects them in battle from dying. So you join the clan with Cid and this is your first action in the game. While going through the story Vann and Penelo from Final Fantasy XII appears in the game. Now onto how the game plays.
The game play is pretty straight forward it's tactics. It's turned based, it's kinda like playing DnD actually. One person moves, gets and action then gets to turn to protect a certain way in their block. The game has a really easy learning curve. Each of the different races and job classes can move a different number of blocks. Battles go pretty quickly(I have my battle speed at stock speed and it's more then quick enough).
There is more then enough classes to try and master. I don't even have half of them unlocked. There is 400 regular quests and numerous clan trials. This game will last hours, I'm not quiet sure how long the main quest takes. I am not quiet through it yet. I have a lot of it done and a lot of side quests done and I'm almost 33 hours into the game.
This is the second best game I've played for the DS. I really recommend this game to anyone who enjoys playing DnD or just enjoys tactical games in any manner. I give this game a 9.5/10.
