(8) 'Neighborhood Watch Committee, reminding you that necrophilia is still illegal!'

Right to business. Let's start with yesterday.
Yesterday there was a writing forum. Here's the basic idea: We had to write a response/story to various scenarios (reminds me of The Friendly Alliance ^_^) 15 minutes per scenario, seven scenarios. If you're in The Friendly Alliance, be wary: I'll be using each of these scenarios in our group. So you'll have to just wait and see what they are!
After the forum, I and a couple other people had a party at Carl Jr.'s fast food joint. Since we arrived here, all we--actually, I =/--have been eating has been food prepared by the hotel or lobby cafe. It's been nice (and free), but I had an urge to be unhealthy tonight. So we combined out funds to buy a bunch of burgers, fries, and milkshakes. We talked about our everyday lives, thoughts on the internship so far, joked around, had a miniature food fight...it was really nice. I was very nostalgic for my friends back home, as we have a similar traidition at our local pizza restaurant. Good times though =]
Today was pretty much like another day at school, except it was based entirely around English. I didn't mind too much, but it was certainly a change of pace from what we've been doing.
"Class" started in the lobby at 10:00 and ended at 3:00. We learned about advanced grammar, common spelling and punctuation mistakes, modern lit., poetic structure, presentation tidbits...you name it in the name of English and writing, we probably did it.
Since then, I've just been writing. I haven't really thought about writing for myself since I arrived here, but yeah, I've just been writing and typing away on the computer for a couple hours now.
Here's something noteworthy: on Saturday, we're going back into town for our next big project. This time, however, we're going to a local radiostation (Pirate Cat Radio). No idea what we'll be doing, but it sounds exciting. Up, up, and away!
*Rep if you guess the blog title's origin*
