I was just reading the national headlines in the Wii News channel and a headline caught my eye. “Statue in Fla. Turns Heads” it read. It appears that a statue in my city contains nudity and people don't like it. My boring, old people-infested city made national news! w00t! Read the article for yourself...
It surprises me how much I don't pay enough attention to the news, let alone what's going on in my own city, like this statue incident. I'm going to drive around west Delray to see it. I have a feeling I already know where it is... Delray isn't too big and there's a school down the road from me with a shopping center right around the corner. They must have just put it there not long ago because I've never seen it before.
Well time for bed! I'm helping a friend move from Boynton to Wellington tomorrow...

OK so I forgot to find it and I probably would have never found it because I don't know exactly where Addison Plaza is (I could've Google Mapped it but w/e). Here's a link to the picture of the statue

It's not that big of a deal. It's art. It's NATURE. So what if parents of the near-by school are worried about it. The kids probably aren't looking at it... |
