As we are all aware, as of this posting it is 6/1/2011. For me, however, it is a mere eight weeks before I move into my new apartment.

Despite the fact that I am in a bit better position compared to others in my situation (mainly due to geography), I am still extremely nervous about the whole thing. There are a ton of unknowns I'm still trying to figure out, especially security and renter's insurance. And the way things stand on a financial basis, I'll be lucky to last the lease I've...

It seems as if my younger sister has found a boyfriend at college, and my parents, particularly my mother, has been unconciously rubbing the whole ordeal in my face, as if to remind me that no one in Yankee-Land (particularly the females) cares about my immediate lonliness.

I'm getting awfully tired of having being reminded that I am like a scab in Yankee-Land, and that the only people that care about me live outside of what's left of this country. Just let me be with the few people...

Well, today was a HUGE day as far as my apartment search is concerned. In fact, it might be the beginning of the end for this trip.

Why? Because I signed onto a lease for the Rutt Plaza Apartments today. Barring any snags with inspections, vouchers, etc., I plan to be into the apartment by the last week of July, though the lease officially begins on the 1st of August.

Now all I need to do is to get some special locking cabinets built to house my electronic goodies and...

I don't know how many people know of this, but some time ago I created a little fanfiction work involving Peach and Daisy, entitled We Got Dunked!

Well, recently there has been some trouble about the forums that I put it on, so to keep it alive I'm planning on posting it here in the coming days.

Hopefully all of those interested in fan-fictions will take the time to read it, and I'm quite sure that nearly everyone will enjoy it.
