Video Game Formula
There is a formula for making a great video game. The developer needs good graphics to draw people in; if the graphics are bad, that will tell people that the developer isn't putting much time and effort into making it a good game. Next, the developer needs good game play which also includes unlockables and adding variety; this will keep people playing your game for a long time. Finally, the developer needs a good story; this will push people from just liking it to maybe being fanatical about it. People will keep coming back to know what happens next, and if it is complex enough, the game will stay on their minds while they are trying to figure out the more mysterious parts of the story. This is a simple formula to making a great game which most developers do not follow.

I definately agree... developers need to create a website where people could tell them what they expect in a game, that way they don't dissapoint people.
