Friends need help....

Umm...anyway I was just needing help. I know this may sound weird and you guys are on the net but this is bugging me and I need to have some sort of help....
Person 1- Cause of problem (not really my friend...just close friend with Person 3)
Person 2- Cause of problem
Person 3-Friend
Person 4- me
Anyway well I am in this group of 4 for this project and Person 1 and Person 2 hate each other. This has been going on for quite a while now and it is hard to deal with. My friend (Person 3) and I have tried to solve their problems but we just can't do it....
We have figured out that all we can do is tell the teacher and ask them to get involved.
Person 2 has been good in the past few weeks but Person 1 refuses to do anything....and then he goes off at the end of the lesson crying and getting his other friends to feel sympathetic. They then start badmouthing me cause the guy lies....
Anyway I just want to ask if I should tell the teacher...or if I should just leave them alone...but I don't want to fail.
If you can give me any suggestions that would help as well...but Person 1 is so stubborn he won't just sit down and talk cause he doesn't feel that I should do that but if we get a teacher he will force him to.
Person 2 is quite good and will participate in these things.
All help will be appreciated....and maybe repped.
BTW- Don't tell me its weird or what.....cause I just need help.

If you can't force person 1 to talk it out then you'll have to get a teacher to force him, but only if you think talking would solve the problem. I don't really see why you need them to get along though, if it's a project, then can't you and persons 2 and 3 do it alone. Maybe you can ask the teacher to switch him for somebody else.
Violence could be the answer too, maybe have both of them fight it out. It works sometimes, but depends on who they are. You seem to be decided on telling a teacher. If you think talking it out will solve the problem, then that would be the right thing to do. |

Well I have had this problem I was person 2 and 1 is kind of my friend now. Maybe u could talk Person 1 into seeing the school consulor if that dosent work lock them in chairs to talk about why they hate each other and settle their differences.And if that dosent work then on to plan Q seperate them as far as possible

Like Raul said, you could get the teacher to force him to but that could also lead to problems. Since one f them (person 2) is actually cooperating, you 3 might want to do the project alone and tell the teacher that you 3 worked on the project without person 1.He might give all 3 of you credit.
This is only if he really is too stubborn to listen to you all. If you think that letting the teacher help with your dilemma is the best choice, then I suggest you go ahead. Hope this helps =) |
