As co-Owner and Event co-ordinater of TKC i've decided to start a weekly Karting get-together, your not FORCED to join, and for the most part it is... similiar... to the ladder. However points gained by participating members will be tallied up into a total point count over time building up on a clan weekly event ladder.

so this is the plan...
Saturday night is the night i plan to host the Random Team Vs tourny...
When is the time you say? In order to avoid timezone confusion... I'll simply say that the tournament is in exactly N/A.

There is NO prize for the tournaments, ok?
this is simply an inner clan weekly get-together to keep acivity going...

Hopefully i can nab that 2nd post this week so i can keep you all informed

The rules are simple, the courses are random, should you vote on a course and have it picked, you will not recieve any total points from that round.
the teams will be comprised of members in group A and B, with C for fill-in's of people who dont show up, however i plan to implement another chart for Team Battles : D
(For you "C Group" naysayer's, originally this was going to be a 12 person clan, so dont complain, there will be an oppertunity for you to participate sooner or later)
What i originally planned on doing was a weekly team V.S tourny, filling out a total points chart over the weeks as they go by...

I chose Teams for various reasons:
-The teams are random so we wont have 1 sided teams
-It Represents the ability to work together in various environments (such as working together to place a strip of items infront of a narrow passage)
-It takes less skill to do 6v6 then 1v1 x 12, thus making it more enjoyable for players lower down the ladder
-It's not as stressing as playing just 1 person at a time
-Everyone has the same vehicles in battle mode, so you cant say there kart is better
-You get to know the characters and courses your other clanmates are compatable with

Also some suggestions would be nice, here are ones that have been made already:
-Wii Wheel only tournaments
-Specific course only tournaments
-Specific character weight class tournaments
-Karts only/bikes only tournaments

this here is an example of what the chart would be like, it would slowly grow over time as the weeks went by, adding on to previous points with the one's you earn each week:

Are you going to make a sign up sheet, or just the first 12 to show up get in?

There is no signup sheet really...
and its for the top 12 ranked players in the clan, should some of them fail to show up the next ranked members (Group C, rank 13-16) fill in for them, no... not fill in for them... take there place :l

So if we had... 2 people missing then the two top ranked players in the group below A+B(which would be C) are selected to join the occuring tournament <.<

Well, without a sign up sheet, then we wont know who will or will not be there untill the time of the tournament correct? So should the top ranked C-Team members be waiting around to see if there is a spot open?

This is your thing, so whatever you go with is your call. I just think it may be easier if we had a list of who is supposed to be able to make it. That way there is no guessing at the time of the tournament.
