My clan woomps :(

Don't leave this site if your clan is sucking badly. Just keep in mind these tips.

Info:Most people that make clans here(a billion and one) make them without thinking about who will join. Initiative is good but an outsider making a can without any knowledge or knowing of the person isn't good. Most people should get to know each other pretty good,in this community, before making a clan.

About making a clan:

I suggest looking around before making one. Make sure the game you pick isn't a game that NOBODY plays... Also, make sure (Like in Rockrin's thread) not to make the 201th one for SSBB.

How can I make an efficient clan?

#1 Get well-known
#2 Join another one to get the feel of one(I did that)
#3 Make an easy to read Rank System. Making up names is cool for ranks but can get kind confusing.
#4 Make sure you can keep clan ACTIVE! Active is the key word for a clan. I use tourneys to keep mine active.
#5Have a nice but not too shavy name for clan.
#6 Remember you're the leader but that doesn't make you the best always try to be humble.

What's a social group? Do I need it?

A social group is a place to talk only for invited guests. It is useful for talking but doesn't raise post count nor is invisible. Other people CAN and WIll check it out. I don't like to use social groups since people don't see your activeness nor dead-ness. So, it's your decision.

That's about it for a clean and succesful clan. Remember not to provoke other users and make them HATE your clan. Also, don't go and demote the other clan. Always try to keep your clan thread clean, no spamming. I'd suggest telling a mod or reporting.

even if you do make a clan stick with it don't just give up or make another new clan if you cannot even handle your first made clan

with me basically everyone left and no one but me was active, so yeah, thats what i get for going on vacation. but still now for my new clan, it will never die, i wont let it
