There have been cases in which people die form a small amount of chalk... i think chalk is made with graphite, sothat should work....
-_- ....... ELECTRON VOLTS!!!!! electron volts isnt an actual thing its a measurment of energy so when i say a single split atom released 200 MeV i mean thats how much energy it releases

Ahhhh!! Well sorry, it was not my intention to make youseem stupid!! but if it's any compensation you proved me wrong... I assumed volts, because I think an atom does release volt... well I'll need to check that but now Iunderstand what you mean.

*sigh*......The atom is still way too small for someone to feel for itself alone. We prefer items you can actually see with the naked eye.

"Nuclear fission is the splitting of the nucleus of an atom into parts (lighter nuclei) often producing free neutrons and other smaller nuclei, which may eventually produce photons (in the form of gamma rays). Fission of heavy elements is an exothermic reaction which can release large amounts of energy both as electromagnetic radiation and as kinetic energy of the fragments (heating the bulk material where fission takes place). Fission is a form of elemental transmutation because the resulting fragments are not the same element as the original atom.

Nuclear fission produces energy for nuclear power and to drive the explosion of nuclear weapons. Both uses are made possible because certain substances called nuclear fuels undergo fission when struck by free neutrons and in turn generate neutrons when they break apart. This makes possible a self-sustaining chain reaction that releases energy at a controlled rate in a nuclear reactor or at a very rapid uncontrolled rate in a nuclear weapon."

Nuclear fission - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Says nothing about electron volts.

*double sigh* because you are yet to realize electron volts arent an actual thing its a measurment of energy -_-

During the 1930's, another women, Lise Meitner, would contribute new insights into what would happen when an atom was actually split into two. It came that she was spending a winter holiday in Sweden when she thought of an idea from recent results. Meitner wondered whether in some atoms like uranium the forces that hold the nucleus together might be more feebly balanced. If a 'slow' neutron enters the nucleus, it might cause the nucleus to elongate and vibrate causing the particles within to be pulled far enough that it might split. Meitner named this process Nuclear Fission. She realized that their must be energy released when fission occurs and used Einstein's equation, E=MC^2 (energy equals mass times the speed of light squared) to get the answer. The result produced 200MeV(million electron volts), just the amount of energy that could force the two fragments of the nucleus apart.

-_- Exploration: Splitting the atom ......is that enough proof for you

Okay ownage if you knew this.. why would you consider atoms in the first place...? Just asking?/

I didn't mean for you to take me literally when I said add me as a helper. Oh well. I'll prove you all wrong some more.

ownage is right, because a single atom splitting could set off a chain reaction and therefore kill someone.

Are body parts legal? If so, let's see you kill someone using only your neck.

because when they use the electric chair i saw it used 2000 volts so i converted electron volts into volts and saw it was no where near the amount of volts needed to kill someone this is also why i later said electrocution powered by the energy givin off by 1 atom

Ownage DIDN'T THINK you could kill people, that's why he chose an atom.

Simple, you can easily twisted the wrong way *crack* you're dead!
