Adjustable language filter

I would like to make the sugestion of a adjustable language filter. For those who don't swearing can turn it off, and those who can deal with minor swearing can leave it on meadium (d*mn, h*ll ect) and those who can't stand it can turn it on high. Can vBuliten do this?

Wow... Really?... Why not just have some kind of blocker? Other forums I post in use blockers, so that if one tries to type the dirty form of the word poo (trying to keep it clean for the sensitive here ), it would show up as something like "s***"....

Whats funny about the blocker is it does the same thing with words like midget (for example).


All of these types of attempts at censorship in a way bothers me though... Like its that big of a deal if someone says hell in a post?

Many people find the word hell offensive. I do. Like I said, the filter would to prefrence. That way, there can be no censorship, or a lot. Everyone wins.

Supported, but how would it be done? It would be so easy for someone to lie about their age (if there was some sort of birthday mechanism to measure the suggested filter or something of that nature) or simply turn the filter off entirely...

i dont think vbullieten has a filter like that, i once read into all the abilitys a vbulliten forum has and to be honest i dont rmeber seeing that one, hwoever dont hold me to it.
