Gamecube Controller Help?

My Gamecube Controllers suck, and they are NOT made by 3rd-party developers. They were made by Nintendo, and they have been wonky for a long ass time. Each time I put them into my Wii to play Brawl, they go to the side or the change the angle of the camera and it's starting to piss me off.

Yes I have tried taking out the controller and banging it on the ground with force.
Yes I have tried not touching any button or stick when putting the controller back in.
Yes I have tried blowing on the controller port and Wii port many times.

I really really don't want to have to buy more GameCube controllers, so any suggestions on how to fix them?

By the way, isn't there some button combination you can do to fix them?
