Gamecube, nintendo's worst system?
I was just reading through my issue of game informer when I happened to read that nintendo might vote the gamecube as nintendo's worst system. I thought that this system was one of their best, but I might be wrong.

Hmm... could the people of Nintendo have already forgotten about the Virtual Boy?

I though N64 was the worst system... but thats probably because the graphics just really bothered me. They were all blurry and a bit off to me. I've yet to purchase a N64 game on VC due to this... but maybe someday.

GameCube to me seemed like Nintendo's experimental system, trying new things out to see how they work and how fans reacted to it. GBA-Gamecube link, Wind Waker's new style, Luigi's Mansion before Mario Sunshine, etc. The games were good, but the new direction scared away developers and made fans cautious. It was a good system, but the lack of third party support made it seem really bad.

yeah, that's a good way to put it. I just thought that it was a really cool system. Or it could have been that the gamecube was the system that got me into video games

I like the gamecube. It was purple just for that it gets bonus points. Also the games themselves that were on the gamecube were good. Super Smash bros. melee and Resident Evil are reason enough alone to get one. I do believe it's not the worst system. Now if you're looking for poor sales the Virtual boy, e-machine, and other things didn't do well in that department.
