A new Golden Sun?

Camelot, the developers of We Love Golf, has stated that they are working on some RPG ideas and have not yet ruled out a Golden Sun DS.

"We want to play that game too, just as much as you. We love Golden Sun!" Hiroyuki and Shugo Takahashi said.

However, the current focus of Camelot is shipping out the European version of We Love Golf.

"Camelot is an RPG maker. We don't think that we'll ever quit making RPGs."

That would be so great! What about their Wii RPG though? It was announced years ago and we haven't heard anything since.

Yeah, I would totally love a new Golden Sun. Hopefully that one really does come out, i mean, they do make rumors and wait a long time to make them true!!

omg i wuld praise a new golden sun. ive never played the first one, but i beat the second one like 5 times, and i got like 100% stuff cuz i used my friend's code who beat number 1

I would hope for the same cast.I thought the story simply wasn't strong enough in the first two games (independantly of the characters). It would be important for the original cast to make an appearance, at least. Of course the storyline was fun and exciting, but when compared to other RPGs, it wasn't awe-inspiring. Those memorable characters and the puzzle-solving were the games' strong suits (along with graphics which were pretty good for the time).

Basically, a third GS withe the original cast and same gameplay length on Wii. That is what I am hoping for!

The first 2 golden sun games were the first two games I had on the GBA, and they were amazing. Unfortunately they were stolen from me, and I just play my gf's MArio Tennis for the GBA for nostalgia. Boy do I love those menu sound effects, and the star fox like talking lol.

If a new one comes out, I'll be in line to buy it. I have never been disappointed with Camelot. They are one of the few developers out there that doesn't feel the need to mass out games and hope for quality.

Meh, I dont know i feel like all the stuff story wise was tied up in the two games. Unless Alex some how manages to escape the fate that befell him in the end of the second game. Id say new story, new cast......Or atleast have a passable story with the same characters. Maybe dig deeper in to the lemurians or something.
