Aliens vs. Predator Game Play Details Announced

Yesterday, at Sega's GamesCon press conference, they announced that AvP will immense multiplayer modes to go along with it's Steam feature.

All three versions of the game-360, PC, PS3-will have 18 way multiplayer and all will feature mixed species game modes.

Said Sega rep Rob Bartholomew;

“If you’re playing on PC, we’re also leveraging Valve Steamworks to provide anti-cheat matchmaking Achievements, and we’re using Steam Cloud as well, so your saved games and settings.”

There will be a four player co-op in "Survival" mode, in which you will play as Marines fighting against waves of aliens. Everyone's gotta have a "horde" mode nowadays.

The game is shaping up to be a pretty good shooter. It's out next year.
