The Who Getting Their Own Rock Band Title?

It's not that I don't like Rock Band or the songs/games they put out...but why do they think people want to play a game full of old hippie songs? First it was the Beatles, and that was fine because they are no doubt the most iconic band to ever grace the planet. But now there are rumors swirling about The Who getting their own Rock Band game.

All I can ask is why?

According to Roger Daltrey, the bands frontman, the game is releasing next year.

“The [Beatles] game, yeah, yeah, they’re going to be doing a Who one next year. There is one planned...“[The idea] is fabulous. Anything that gets non-musical people interested in music is wonderful. In my opinion, music is our last true great freedom.

“They can burn our books, they can burn our paintings, but they can’t stop us singing and making music.”

I guess Harmonix and MTV have found ways to make easy money. We'll see.

Now this is a Rock Band game that I'd actually be interested in. Screw popularity, when it comes to the music and energy, The Who had it way better in my opinion. Bring it on. Hardly a game full of "old hippie songs".

Well see unlike The Doors, The Who actually have a pretty lengthy and interesting history as a band.

Old boring hippy songs? If any of you have seen The Who play live you'd change your mind instantly.

Boring old hippies.
