Virtual Console Wishlist

One of my absolute favorite things about the Wii is the Virtual console. It pretty much justifies the 250$ I spent on the console. Being able to go back and play older games on my next gen system at a cheap price is great. Nintendo does a great job getting new titles out every week. But there is one thing that concerns me, When you go through the games you see a ton of crap that's just pushed onto the network . So Here are some games I would love to see put onto the Wii Virtual Console.

Banjo Kazooie: Banjo was pretty much a clone of Super Mario 64. And it was great! This was my favorite game on the N64. The graphics do look dated and the camera is not that great. But the game play makes it all worth it and I really don't have much bad to say about the game. Sadly the game was developed by Rare and since Rare is now owned by Microsoft don't expect to see this game on the Virtual Console any time soon if ever. I can dream right? Let me also note I would also like to see Banjo 2 on the Virtual Console..but yeah fat chance.

Conkers Bad Fur Day: Now I guess you can say I love Rares N64 work and this game is no exception. My second favorite game for the N64. It plays a lot like Banjo with it's item collecting but adds a ton of adult themes. I was blown away by how far the game went the first time I played. This game had to rank in the top tier of good looking N64 games. I'm not sure how Rated M games would be handled on the Virtual Console since it would be so easy for a kid to go down and buy the game, And sadly...this game was developed by Rare would of course is owned by Microsoft. I have to say if this game is ever put on I would be in Gaming Heaven. There is a remake for Xbox but I really want the original.

Turok: Rage Wars: Man I can't tell you how many hours I put into this game back when I was younger. Me and my brother would play Co-op and run through the game countless times. This was my first FPS I really got into it and back then the game felt great. Not too sure how it would hold up now with tons of Shooters on the market. But If Nintendo could fix up the frame rate and maybe add an online mode I would grab this up. It's great I found this game when I was younger I didn't do any researched I just checked out the box and bought it and I was blown away at the time.

Pokemon Gold/Silver: Now I know the Virtual Console at this time does not support game boy games but I think if it did this game would be the first thing I grab up. I fell in love with Red Version as a kid and when I saw the previews for Gold and Silver I had to get it the first day and well I did. I spent about a whole year getting everything that I could. This was a huge step up from the last game and added so much that was very impressive for a Game boy color game. I also want Red/Blue/Yellow to be added because those are also awesome games. Out of all of these games I could since the one coming first.

Kirby 64: The crystal shards: Last but not least is Kirby 64. A great platformer for the Nintendo 64. It's pretty much 3-D side scrolling with lots of collecting. But it's really fun to go and play. Lot's of great bosses make this a good alternative to Mario 64.

Writing this up put a smile on my face looking back at all the great games of the past. I hope all of these can be put on but if they don't there still great games that everybody should try.

hi, this is definitely my opinion..the virtual console is one of the best things that the wii presents.. and I am waiting for further titels..maybe some of the really old titles- if you think of C64

Banjo Kazooie would be great. I would really like Battle Tanx 64. Awesome Co Op game. Majora's Mask. I forgot the name of this one game, but I remember that the game cover had a school bus on it. It was a racing battling game. One of my favorites.

I agree, when I heard about the VC being on the wii I was so phyched and once I bought games like Ocarina of Time, Super Mario Bros., and Super Metroid it definently justified my purchase. Oh and by the way your list is good but i'm mostly looking forward to Kirby 64.

I am a bit of a Sega fan I would like to see road rash 1,2 and 3 on VC!

Maybe some of the early Shinobi games too as Revenge of Shinobi was PRO

I still want to see some localized Fire Emblem games, and of course Pokemon Gold & Silver, because my Silver's battery is dead and roms kind of feel like a curse as well as a blessing to me.

YOSHI'S ISLAND
