Mario Kart Wii: Final Japan Release Date?

Sources in Japan are reporting that the release date of Mario Kart Wii has been decided:April 10. It looks like the game will be bundled with the "Wii Wheel" and will retail for 5,800 yen, or 54 US dollars. It's not confirmed, but it looks like on WiFi you can race with up to 12 people on 16 different tracks, and that you can play as your Mii. There are also rumors of special moves for the bikes in the game like "wheelies." In the past we've been told that the game will be released in late March or early April, so this date does not seem like it's too far from the truth.

Now to just wait for the official word from Nintendo...

I dont know if the is real? it looks real but the picture on the front is pretty generic. I want this game it is looks awesome!!!
I hope it comes out soon. Reggie did say it would come wiht a steering wheel.

i just bought a steering wheel with a dash board like thing ang it was 20 bucks!!! the lady warned me that the mario cart game coming out would have a steering wheel but i ignored it because i thot it's just the wheel part that u put the controller in, which i already have. but this one looks different.

I am going to get this game no matter what I and will kick ass online as I love and am the best at racing games. Also if this comes out in April or May then I will wait for this and not get SSBB on March 9th as I am not allowed to get a game right after 2 months. So then i will just wait for this if this comes out in April or May and not get SSBB until September-October! But I wish this comes out in Mid-June to Early-July as I am sure my parents will buy me this game after I buy SSBB on March 9th.

Just visited GameStop today and they said Mario Kart was just added to their list of preorders, and that it would come out in April. They wouldn't tell me any more.

Glad I didn't buy a steering wheel yet, cool that they are throwing one in with the game. This is definitely on my list for purchases....could be the game that makes me hook my Wii up to the internet.

So you are saying that Mario Kart also comes out in April for US and Canada? Because if it is I am mad because of.........Read above post of mine.
