WiiWare channel dated!
WiiWare channel finally dated!
 There has been talk of a downloadable games channel for a while now. Well, this channel, called WiiWare, will be available on May 12. There is no news yet on game prices or what games will be available. Wiiware: WiiWare To Make American debut On May 12

what exactly is the difference between the wii shop and wiiware?

Um. I think WiiWare games will be avaible through the shop? The same one you got the Internet Channel and Everybody Votes Channel on? Wikipedia says the first WiiWare game for the U.S. will launch in March, probably using the WiiWare option in the shop, because March comes before May.

WiiShop lets you download VC games while WiiWare will let you download games that are new. Just little games that someone made up.

ive got some guesses about it. 1 of them is that it will release new games that will make use of the mii channel. the second 1 is, people can make games and share them over the channel. both from info ive read in teh past like 20 minutes, neither very good. will they be free??????
