mario kart better thank SSBB?

I get SSBB and im super excited about it. in fact i got it on the day it came out and its great, except for the fact that online gaming part of the game is not so great. sometimes i can get in some awesome matches with no lag at all. but more than likely it lags and pings out the whole time and a 2 minute match becomes 10 or 20 minutes.

mario kart on the other hand rules the world, and there is never any pinging or lagging! praise mario kart for their online awesomeness.

I have used MKwii's online and it is better than SSBB's. However, I don't know how to compare the rest of the two games because their so different from each other.

I was thinkning the same exact thing, I was going to start a thread titled "Is it just me or is this game better than SSBB"

I finally had some time to play this game yesterday (My wife was sick so I stayed home and took care of her). Anywho here are my thoughts:

WiiWheel - Wow, who knew A little wheel could be so much fun, I know the review people are like, "If you want the best setup go with the wiimote and nunchuck" But I totally disagree. The wiiwheel is just so much more fun and makes total since for the game. It may take a little getting used to but once you do, it really feels like your driving. Using just your thumbs to drive just isent near as fun IMO

Tracks - So nice to have a multitude of tracks, I mean 32 that I know about which is awesome. I thought it was really cool to play some old SNES tracks too, brought back memories of my brother and I duking it out back in the day. Coconut Mall is amazing. The graphics look great too with component cables on a 32 inch.

Multiplayer - Havent played Ghost races yet but I love the idea. As far as the regional playing goes I think it rocks. I've played about 10 races and my ranking has gone up about 250 points. It is so exciteing to race against real people across the continent. I've had 0 lag issues and it seems most people actually like to use the Wiiwheel in the races. Anyone know what a gold wiiwheel means? My guess is that they are using manual control, is this correct?

Battles- havent messed with em yet

Anyway, I just think this game is way more fun then Smash Brothers. Smash just frustrates the he'll out of me whereas this game has enough luck involved tha everyone can enjoy it. The more skilled drivers will still win more often but in Kart you still always have a shot if you in the back. This is now my favorite Wii game.

I definitely agree with you about online. I believe Nintendo could have done a lot better with Brawl's online, but I also think they were still experimenting with what would work best, coming to a very player-friendly interface with Mario Kart. However, I've been a Smash Bros. fan since '99 (when it came out) and played it much more than Mario Kart. This is actually the first Mario Kart game I have owned, and is the best so far to me, but I do kind of miss the co-op feature they had in Double Dash. Smash Bros. is always my game, but it really isn't easy to compare Brawl to Mario kart. Don't ask how, it just is.

And answering the wheel question, if you have a golden wheel by your name, it means that you use the wii wheel a whole lot more than any other controller.

Wow, that was really deep wiifro. Lol, I'm just kidding. Like scare said, it's hard to compare to games of different gernes. SSBB and MKWii will always have special places in my heart.

this one is a tuffy. I'd have to say SSBB because I feel that even as fun as Mario Kart wii is and I will admit the online is great but I think I'll end up playing SSBB more than Mario Kart wii cuz i will have much more to do like make stages collect stuff beat records and have the occasional online brawl on the side.

SSBB wins hands down. MKW is fun but it is soooo much more unbalanced than SSBB. I can purposely stay in 12th place for a whole race and save an awesome item for the last lap and just demolish everyone and end in atleast 3rd place.
