yea this new one is great and all but is that the only kind of tournament you can play online..time trials basically?

Of course not, you can meet up with friends directly and play. I'm trying to start a league site where players play at the same time with the same 11 other people for a set number of weeks and earn points towards being the overall champion. Kindda like a bowling league, who knows if it will work out. But yeah, go online and play live against other people, its a blast.
